In a broking sector largely populated by accountants, Vexus brings an added dimension to the business exit process with a range of services underpinned by our extensive sales and marketing expertise.

With over 20 years ‘hands on’ commercial business experience; including start-up’s, building early stage companies, acquisitions and selling a number of businesses, Tony Vaughan brings an entrepreneurial flair to Vexus and its clients exit process.

In an industry largely populated by accountants, Tony adds a new dimension to the exit process for our select clients, his success and experience as a ‘deal maker’ is underpinned by extensive sales and marketing roots in the B2B sector.

With extensive knowledge across a variety of business sectors including the complex process of securing true and best value for businesses that are asset rich with intellectual property rights.

Robyn

Robyn

With strong commercial awareness, solid communication skills and an established background in M&A, Robyn has a well-developed and instinctive ability to effectively engage with all clients and colleagues.

Robyn has extensive experience across core marketing practices, including: PR, digital and direct marketing. The core marketing principals are similar irrespective of the sector our client operates in, this experience highly compliments the process our clients go through when exiting their business and allows the development of bespoke strategic marketing plans for every client.

Robyn has a real interest and flair in devising, implementing and developing effective administrative processes and procedures, particularly focusing on process improvement and optimisation. These efficiencies prove essential in the effective sale of our clients’ businesses.

Richard

Richard

Richard is an experienced entrepreneur with a long track record of running a successful retail design and manufacturing business. After the sale of his company in 2013 as part of a long-term exit strategy, he gained firsthand experience of preparing businesses for sale, creating value and supporting the sale process.
As part of the Vexus Exit & Consultancy team, Richard supports a wide range of business owners seeking the real drivers that build business value. Helping our clients retain an alignment of personal values and ambitions, while focusing on an achievable exit plan that can deliver sustainable growth and build value as part of the process of preparing a business for a trade sale, MBI or external investment.
Richard was appointed Enterprise Ambassador for Leeds University in 2015, supporting their Management undergraduate courses with seminars and workshops on creativity, innovation, growth models and exit strategies.

Paul

Paul is a senior adviser specialising in business consultancy with more than 30 years experience of working at the very top of the financial services industry.

Paul’s unique expertise lies in business ‘matchmaking’, using a extensive client database to match right buyers with right sellers, both often not on anyone else’s radar. With fine business acumen, out-of-the-box thinking attitude and considering an ideal outcome for his clients, he is able to proactively advise on alternative, more suitable solutions like joint ventures or mergers rather than the original straight sale/purchase envisaged.

Paul is also experienced in dealing with the emotional aspects of selling/buying companies, especially family businesses, and is well-versed in finding solutions to intangible or unvoiced issues accompanying business sales.

Jacqueline Harris has extensive experience helping businesses to grow and helping business owners and their teams, across a wide variety of sectors, understand exactly what it is they want and how to get it. As a qualified executive and business coach, facilitator and trainer, Jacqueline specialises in leadership and sales, creating a highly productive thinking environment for both groups and individuals.

As part of the Vexus Consultancy team, Jacqueline facilitates vision and strategic planning workshops, helping to develop growth plans and upskills sales people and the leadership teams. She also works specifically with business owners, coaching them through the decision to exit, the exit process itself and post exit – what happens next? She understands that this is a major life event and more than just a transaction.

With a strong background in devising and implementing successful marketing campaigns in the B2B sector, Kate is well experienced in identifying the most appropriate strategic marketing plans for each of our clients in order to attract the right buyer.

As part of the Vexus team, Kate is responsible for heading up all the marketing activities in order to implement and manage innovative marketing strategies for Vexus, our associated businesses and brands.

Kate has a real passion and flair for all things digital, developing her own unique style when it comes to content creation for blogs, social media and email campaigns. These qualities prove essential in both generating brand awareness for Vexus, and for the sale of our clients businesses.
